Durban artist Arthur Morris died on October 8, after falling from a ladder,
just two days before his 90th birthday.
Morris, who was also an art restorer, was a former Durban city
councillor, pilot and flight instructor. The fall caused a blood clot on the
brain which proved to have caused too much damage to be operable. He had had
many health issues over the years with advanced kidney disease, skin cancer and
back problems.
