Durban audiences will fondly remember
actress and playwright Jill Fenson who died last night (November 25) in
hospital in the UK after suffering a massive aneurism.
She was a well-known performer on stage and
radio and wrote numerous productions which reflected her characteristic
ironic humour. She was married to John Moss, former Director of Drama for the
Natal Performing Arts Council (now the Playhouse Company) and an actor and playwright
himself. Their daughter, Miranda Moss, also appeared in numerous productions.
