January 4 at 19h30:
Secret Circle. The ordinary becomes
the extraordinary in The Secret Circle, a
romantic drama full of mystery, intrigue and danger is centred on a young girl
who discovers not only that she is a witch and part of a secret coven, but that
she is the key which will unlock a centuries-old battle of good versus evil.
January 5 at 18h00:
The Neighbours. This is a comedy
series about Marty Weaver who recently bought a home for his family in Hidden
Hills, a gated New Jersey townhome community. It’s clear from day one that the
residents are a little … different. The neighbours all have pro-athlete names
like Larry Bird and Reggie Jackson and, instead of eating, receive nourishment
through their eyes and mind by reading books. Turns out the community is
comprised of aliens who’ve been stationed on Earth for 10 years. The aliens
seem harmless and there is a lot of closet space so the Weavers stay and
discover that some things — the ups and downs of marriage, the desire to raise
a happy family — are universal, intergalactic even.
January 5 at 20h30:
90210 IV (NB: This series will have a
double bill every week) Based on the 1990s, Beverly Hills, 90210, the series revolves around a new generation of friends
dealing with the trials and tribulations of life while living in the most
glamorous city in America. In the season IV premiere, gang from Beverly Hills
have graduated from high school. Naomi has spent the summer dealing with the
shocking news of her pregnancy and quickly discovers she doesn’t have the
status at college that she did in high school.
January 8 at 20h30:
Private Practice VI (Season Six will
premiere on M-Net Series Season Five was previously on M-Net channel 101. Private Practice is about gifted doctors
working together to change the lives of their patients. Having made a home in
Los Angeles and among her friends at the practice, renowned neonatal surgeon
Addison Montgomery may have at last found true love with fellow doctor and
long-time friend Sam.
January 10 at 22h30:
Warehouse 13 IV. Having saved the
life of the President, two Secret Service agents find themselves been
transferred to Warehouse 13. Warehouse 13 is a top-secret storage facility that
houses every strange artefact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and
supernatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government. The Warehouse's
caretaker Artie charges Pete and Myka with chasing down reports of supernatural
and paranormal activity in search of new objects to cache at the Warehouse, as
well as helping him to control the warehouse, itself.
January 11 at 22h30:
True Blood V. Returning for its fifth
season, True Blood is sexy, scary,
wildly entertaining drama series based on the Sookie Stackhouse novels by
Charlaine Harris. True Blood Season 5
goes deep into the battle between the Vampire Authority and “vampire
fundamentalists” – a political power play whose outcome could decide not only
