Suspects
of Love (AKA
Aspects of Love) coming up at Rhumbelow Theatre features the venue’s
founders - The Family Players. Derek Pearce, Greg Baptie, Roland Stansell, and
Alan Quihampton appears in a comical lip-sync drag show that looks at the ups
and downs of love.
“If you thought you knew all that you
needed to know about life, love, valentine, marriage and relationships…… just
wait for Ruby Wacked, Alexa, Burley Chassis and Cut Glass Cathy to show you
their side of life, love, valentine, marriage and relationships,” says Roland
Stansell.
Suspects
of Love is joining Diakonia Council of Churches and
many other NGOs, celebrities and organizations around the globe to support One
Billion Rising campaign which culminates on “V Day” Valentine’s Day this year (February
14).
People in KZN are invited to show their
support of the campaign by wearing black, with a splash of red, on Valentine’s
Day.
Shows take place on February 14 at 19h30,
February 15 and 16 at 20h00 and February 17 at 18h30. The venue opens 90
minutes before show for picnic dinner.
Tickets R100. Take along food picnic baskets
and braais will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is
essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the
premises). Rhumbelow Theatre is situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road.
