Bluestockings present Josie Field and
Laurie Levine as part of their Side by
Side Summer Tour on March 1.
This is a new tandem show from two of South
Africa’s finest acoustic performers in their long awaited moments on stage
together and at the same time! The intimate bluestockings experience will give
the audience a front row seat to the creativity and personality of these two
deeply talented ladies.
The blues infused vocal-rock of Josie Field
(Best Female South African Music Award Nominee 2012) connects with the intimate
folk, country styles of Laurie Levine (Best Produced Album Six Winters South African Music Award Winner 2012) to create a
unique and intimate musical experience featuring all their well-known singles
and crowd favourites.
A real treat for music lovers, their
performance will be solely acoustic utilizing a variety of instruments
including guitar, banjo and ukulele as well as their unique vocal harmonies, as
they present slightly different interpretations of their most popular songs,
allowing both old and new fans to experience their material in a whole new
light.
The performance takes place on March 1 at
