For the first time in a long period, the KZN Youth Orchestra will combine with the KZN Youth Choir to present a concert at Crawford College, La Lucia on March 1.

Orchestra members range from ages 12 to 22 and development and advanced orchestras will perform under the batons of Cathy Peacock and Lyk Temmingh. The programme will feature a variety of music ranging from baroque and classical to music with a local flavour. The Artistic Director is Gérard Albért du Toit who will also lead the choir when it travels to Italy in July to compete in the Florence International Choir Festival.
