2013 DURBAN FASHION FAIR

Selections have now begun for the 2013 Durban Fashion Fair! Sindi Shangase, Mthoko Chiyi, Greg Wallis and Sim Tshabalala recently judged the fashion storyboards received by hundreds of designers who entered this year’s eThekwini Municipality Durban Fashion Fair to be held from August 8 to 11 at the International Convention Centre in Durban.

This years’ Durban Fashion Fair is going to be bigger and better than last year, with a new venue, a more in-depth fashion development programme, some new designers to showcase and brand new fashion garments on display. With the focus of the Durban Fashion Fair being to provide an important platform for Durban’s creative industries to access national and international markets, taking design to retail, and ultimately putting Durban on the fashion map!

As fashion centres on a visual experience, the fair will not only include a number fashion shows daily from August 8 to 10, but will also showcase pop-up shops until August 11 where fashionistas can shop until they drop.
