managing and directing your career or work with artists?
Art Source
South Africa and Artspace Gallery have planned a series of popular seminars on
professional practice for visual artists. It is targeted at those wanting to
learn how to build a profile and build value in their art works, and achieving
success by better understanding the visual art sector.
The
seminars will be hosted in Bloemfontein, Durban and Port Elizabeth in June and
July, 2013. Seats are limited for each seminar and booking is essential. A 10%
early booking and special membership discount applies.
In
association with the National Arts Council, Art Source is making available five
full bursaries. The seminar can only accommodate 35 participants so booking
early is essential.
The KZN
Seminar will be held at the KZNSA in Durban from July 8 to 9. Cost R1,500 (inc.
VAT) includes course material, refreshments, course bag and a 12-month
subscription to SA Art Times. Early booking discount of 10%: R1,350 (including
VAT) for bookings made before June 21, 2013. Student and lecturer discount of
30%: R1,050 (including VAT). KZNSA and Visual Arts Network of South Africa
member discount of 30%: R1,050 (including VAT).
