The Durban Art Gallery will host the exhibition Emerging Eyes – Qal’ Ukuona. This exhibition presents the work of
18 emerging Durban artists who have complete a skills development course called
The Business of Art presented by Curate.a.Space.
The course focused on preparation for entering the professional art work
and the exhibition has been curated by the participants. It features paintings,
prints, photographs, embroideries, sculpture and ceramics.
The exhibition opens tomorrow (May 12) and will celebrate Mother’s Day
with entertainment and refreshments at 13h00.
