GAGASI FM POWERS AYIHLOME

(Siya Mhlongo will be the MC)

KZN’s leading urban radio station, Gagasi FM, is the official radio partner for one of the most exciting Ayihlome gospel concerts with international artists to come to Durban in a while - with award winning American gospel greats, Donny McClurkin and Cece Winans, emcee'd by Gagasi FM on-air personality Siyabonga Mhlongo.

Vuyokazi Mhlophe, brand activation and marketing manager at Gagasi FM, said that all at the station were eagerly anticipating the Ayihlome concert. She said it was an honour for Gagasi FM to support the concert as gospel music in KwaZulu-Natal was at the heart of some of their listeners, especially those who tune into Command your Day and Soul Sunday presented by Siyabonga Mhlongo.

President of World Gospel Powerhouse which is bringing the event to Durban, Zanele Mbokazi, added: “We are ecstatic that Gagasi FM came on board. Gagasi FM is a force to be reckoned with. We started back in 2010 with Shirley Ceaser, then Juanita Bynum last year, and now we are bringing the giants Donnie McClurkin and Cece Winans. This will be a spectacular worship night with the Word being shared by Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule. This is in line with our goal of continuously pushing iAgenda yeZulu.”

Donald Andrew McClurkin, Jr.(53) – known as Donnie to his fans - is an American gospel music singer and minister who has won three Grammy awards, ten Stellar awards, two BET awards, two Soul Train awards, one Dove award and one NAACP Image award for his work. His songs include Great Is Thy Mercy, Stand, Didn't You Know, I Call You Faithful and many more.

Priscilla "CeCe" Marie Winans is an American gospel singer and songwriter, who has won numerous awards including Grammys and Stellar Awards. She’s also an author, actress and talk show host. Her songs include Mercy Said No, Throne Room, Holy Spirit, Come, Fill This Place and Great Is Thy Faithfulness.

Ayihlome with Donny McClurkin & Cece Winans in association with Gagasi FM will be held at Durban Christian Centre (Dome) tomorrow night (May 31) at 18h00. Tickets R400, R500, R600, and R700 (VIP) booked through Computicket.
