UKD Marketing cc is a recently established Durban
North production company looking for performers aged 15 to 65. The notification

The
Language of Love is a romantic, musical comedy
about the chaos of two South African families. A girl who comes from a
traditional Indian background falls in love with a Boere Boy …. see how the
drama unfolds. To top it all, it’s set in 1995.
Characters:
Granny (aiya): traditional, old fashioned,
dramatic
Mother (Mogie): complacent, a bit bigger-framed,
dominating and contests her mother–in–law
Father: controlled by wife and mollycoddled
by Mother
Priya: beautiful, loves her family, a bit
old-fashioned
Erik: Prince Charming - white
Stella: proud mother of two good-looking
young sons, a bit of a drama herself - white
George: the younger cuter son, who loves
Brittany and has a little secret of his own – white
Madam: the maid, loves to scandal with granny
and is drama herself
All ages are welcome and experience is not
essential. Dancers, singers, lighting controllers and some extras will also be
required! This will be a paid assignment.
Please arrive prepared to perform a
monologue. Auditions will take place today (June 1) at 10h00 at the Durban
