Cats and
quilts go together and, along with their associates, Tollgate Quilters Guild aim
to prove this with a fun one-day exhibition of Cat-related and other quilts and
wall-hangings at the Glenwood Presbyterian Church hall complex on June 22.
This is
the culmination of work by members of the Tollgate Quilters Guild, Queensburgh
Quilters Guild and the Cloud Nine Textile Art group. For those who love cats,
don’t miss it. The event also provides a great opportunity to find out how to
start patchwork and quilting.
Tollgate
Quilters Guild and Queensburgh Quilters have been part of the quilting
fraternity in Durban since the 80’s and both meet in the evenings.
There
will be demonstrations and vendors selling quilt-related equipment and fabric. There
is an entrance fee.
The exhibition
will be open from 09h00 to 16h00 on June 22 and the Glenwood Presbyterian
Church Hall complex is situated at 339 Esther Roberts Road, Glenwood, Durban. For
