Gallery 415 will play host to Richard
Hart's Silent Auction on July 18.
After 17 years as creative head of the
celebrated design studio disturbance,
he and his wife and daughters will be packing up to pursue opportunities in the
"Big Apple", but not before one more rather unique display of his
work as an artist.
Richard has been invited to join The
Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts studio programme in New York City. He will
take up his studio in the EFA's studio building in Manhattan in August and will
be represented by New York gallery Baang + Burne.
Although much of his recent work will be
heading to New York for exhibitions in October and February, the show of works
at Gallery 415 will include pieces from each of Hart's five solo exhibitions
from the last five years.
The planned silent auction will make for an
exciting evening and art lovers might be able to snap up one of this collectible
artist's pieces for a bargain.
The Silent Auction takes place on July 18
at 18h00 and a cash bar will be available from 17h30 until closing. Gallery 415
is situated at 415 Umgeni Road, Durban. Visit www.gallery415.co.za or www.gallery415.co.za/map for
directions.
