The 2013 Visual Arts Exhibition of the National
Creative Arts Youth Festival opens this evening (August 19) at 17h30 for 18h00 in
The Art Gallery at the Durban University of Technology (DUT).
The guest speaker will be Caroline Smart, artSMart Editor
and well-known theatre personality, who will also present the
awards.
The annual competition is open to all
schools, studios and groups and will remain on show until August 28. The Art
Gallery is situated in the DUT Library Block, Steve Biko Campus, Gate No. 2, 51
Mansfield Road (off Botanic Gardens Road).
