The
Michaelhouse 2013 theatre season begins to wind down tomorrow and Wednesday
(October 22 and 23) with their famous Stars Variety show, this year titled Robin Hoodie vs. the
Sheriff of Nottingham Road.
“This year
we are beginning the first Act with a wonderful selection of music from the
boys of Michaelhouse. Some of the pieces would not have been heard before;
others are picks from a year of an extremely busy cultural programme. After the
break we go into the madness of a pantomime, improvised by the C Block boys,
introducing cameos from other boys. This should be an evening of extreme fun,
do not expect serious theatre, this is a school boy romp!” says the publicity
material.
The Stars
Variety Show takes place on October 22 and 23 at 19h30 at the Schlesinger
Theatre at Michaelhouse. Tickets R30 booked through Angela Jonsson on 033
234 1314 (Weekdays 08h00–13h00) or email: theatre@michaelhouse.org
