The following sad news has been received from the staff of
the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre:
“We are very sad to announce the passing of their colleague and
friend, Russell Wesson (born August 24 in 1978) on December 21, 2013.
“As a student of UKZN, Russell worked on a part-time basis
at the theatre for many years, whilst fighting a brave battle against cystic
fibrosis,” says a representative. “We will remember him with great fondness and
admiration for his cheerfulness, reliability, loyalty and dedication. Our
sincere condolences to the Wesson family on this devastating loss.”
