Stallone Santino with Prompt Side
Productions in conjunction with the Arts and Culture Trust of South Africa (ACT)
presents Athol Fugard's Boesman and Lena,
directed by Brenda-Lee Cele.
The play is set to run at the Hexagon
Studio Theatre in Pietermaritzburg towards the end of May 2014.
Auditions will be held for the three roles
involved: Boesman, Lena and Outa.
Actors are required to prepare a 1-2 minute
monologue from Boesman and Lena or
any published South African play.
All candidates must have a tertiary
qualification or relevant degree. Compensation and remuneration will be
discussed during callbacks. All candidates must be available for rehearsals in
Pietermaritzburg during April up until performance dates which will soon be
announced.
Auditions will take place at the Hexagon
Studio Theatre on the UKZN Pietermaritzburg campus in Scottsville,
Pietermaritzburg on February 21 from 14h00 to 17h00 and on February 22 from 09h00
to 13h00.
