January 12: A Good Day To Die Hard (2013) 16VL Action Crime.
Directed by John Moore and starring: Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney. A detective
travels to Moscow to help his son, but is unaware that the young man’s an
undercover CIA operative. They team up to stop a nuclear weapons heist and take
on the Russian underworld.
January 19: Jack
Reacher (Aka: One Shot) (2012) 13VL
Action Crime. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie and starring Tom Cruise and
Rosamund Pike. When a sniper is arrested for killing five people, he calls for
an ex-military investigator named Jack Reacher. Police are eager to close this
case, but Jack suspects things aren't so cut and dry. Now what seemed like a
simple case begins to get complicated as they realise there’s another enemy
pulling the strings.
January 26: Flight
(2012) 16NL Drama. Directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring: Denzil Washington
and Don Cheadle. A seasoned pilot lands his malfunctioning plane and saves
nearly everyone on board. While he’s first hailed as a hero, questions soon
arise about what really happened on that flight.
