Colours that glow from within the glass and
when held up to the light become incandescent. These provide the keynote of the
blown glass of KZN artist Guido Van Besouw.
Guido van Besouw is recognised as one of
leading few glass blowers in South Africa. He creates a large variety of glass
which he supplies to art galleries, shops and interior decorators around the
country. He produces a wide range of work including blown tabletop arts glass,
glass lighting, architectural glass and decor glass. Every piece is hand blown
by Guido at his studio where sand and fire are transformed into pieces of art.
Each glass piece that he creates is individual and uniquely different in colour
size and shape.
