Zulu TV has announced it will hold its call-back auditions from Friday to Sunday, April 11 to 13, 2014, between 08h30 and 17h00 daily.

The auditions will take place in the hall adjacent to KZN Music House, situated at 1 Derby Street corner Ingcuce (formerly Epsom) Road, Greyville, in Durban.

Aspirant TV presenters, actors and voice-over artists who were successful in the last lot of auditions held are invited to attend the call-back auditions. The call-back auditions on April 11 will be exclusively for presenters, those on April 12 will be for TV actors, and the auditions on April 13 will be for voice-over artists. Once the call-back auditions have happened, further auditions may take place for other applicants, depending on time available.

"Zulu TV is scheduled to go live on air on June 1, 2014, which coincides with my birthday," says Mbongeni Ngema, the principal role-player behind this new initiative which is set to make its imprint on the landscape of South African television.

KZN-based Zulu TV will be flighted throughout sub-Saharan Africa via a satellite that has been launched into space by ETV's Openview HD. Primarily a lifestyle channel, Zulu TV aims to screen high quality programmes in High Definition format, with a strong emphasis on local productions.
