A Durban production company is looking to
build a creative team for a female driven sitcom for a major broadcaster. At
present they are looking for an all female team, with more roles to follow.
They are looking for a Headwriter and team
of Writers to work with the Creator of the concept to produce a South African
first...a quality sitcom of international standard with a strong, empowering
female lead.
"We are looking for young up and coming
talent, as well as established talent," say the organisers. "Any culture any background as long as
you are a strong writer with an open mind to your creative process. As the main character is a “rapidly
approaching 30, modern black woman' they need people who can relate to a local
girl with an international outlook.”
