The South African Writers Circle offer an
event with a difference at the Chanticler Hotel with its Culinary &
Creative Workshop.
Ever thought of producing your own recipe
book? Have a pile of ‘tried & tested’ recipes that need a new lease on
life? Come and watch the Chefs at the Chantecler as they master and prepare the
three course meal which will be enjoyed by all.
Brendon Hatcher from Life Long Learning
will present various styles and skills offered on desktop publishing programmes
so you can digitalise your own recipes. Learn how to manipulate graphics and
wording to produce your very own recipe book!
SAWC members can use this material to
contribute towards their food article competition due in June. Photographs may
be taken in the School of each stage of the cooking.
The Culinary & Creative Workshop takes
place at Chantecler Hotel on June 21 from 09h00 to 14h30. Cut off date for
booking is June 19. Tickets R200 (R180 Members of SA Writers Circle or Life
Long Learning) covers the interactive morning and lunch. Chantecler Hotel is
