A new
Bollywood action film released at select Ster-Kinekor cinemas promises all the
thrills and spectacle expected from the best of Bollywood. This new release promises
to have audiences ducking and diving and on the edge of their seats, as the
action plays out on the big screen!
In Holiday – A Soldier is Never Off Duty,
Captain Virat Bakshi (played by Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar), is among a
battalion of military officers who go to Mumbai for a holiday and to relax.
Virat is also a secret Defence Intelligence Agent and, much to the irritation
of his friends and sub-inspector, is unable to keep a low profile.
During a
bus ride, officers attempt to frisk passengers for a lost wallet, which leads
Virat to something much more serious. Within minutes, the bus is set on fire
and Virat assists the cops in nabbing the carrier of the bomb. Following clues,
Virat hopes to track down the terrorist on whose orders the sleeper cell
terrorists plan to cause more mayhem in Mumbai.
Written
and directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vipul Amrutlal
Shah, the film also stars Sonakshi Sinha as Nisha, Govinda and Dipendra Sharma
as Asif.
