The Durban Catholic Players Guild will be staging the 14th
production of the Durban Passion Play
in the Playhouse during Easter in 2015. Set in Jerusalem, the play portrays the
last week of the life of Jesus. This play has been staged in Durban every five
years since 1952.
All actors are amateurs who receive no payment for their
performance. The play is open to all denominations and all ages.

Play 2015 will be held at Holy Family College Glenmore as follows:
August 23, 2014:
11h00 to14h00: Female
leads (Madonna, Magdalen, Veronica, Martha)
14h00 to 17h00: Male leads (Jesus, Caiphus, Peter, John,
Pilate, Herod)
August 24, 2014:
13h30 to 17h00: Crowds and people of Jerusalem
August 30, 2014:
13h30 to 15h00: Apostles and Sanhedrin
15h00 to 17h00: Dancers and Soldiers (Herod’s dancer’s,
Roman army)
August 31, 2014:
