Calling all emerging artists!
The Performing Arts Network of South Africa will host
auditions for Blue Monday Platform tonight (August 4) at the Catalina Theatre.
The Blue Monday Platform was created by PANSA-KZN for
emerging artists to gain an insight into the performing arts industry, to meet
and network with some of the professionals from the industry. This experience
of the industry includes an audition process, technical run and stage
rehearsal, introduction workshop and live performance in front of an audience.
The process seeks to connect the emerging artists with the
professionals such as event organisers, music producers, theatre and film
directors, radio and television personalities. If you are looking for a
breakthrough, a platform for you to showcase your talents and possibly launch
your career in the arts industry, PANSA is giving you that chance.
Emerging artists will get exposure and possibly be recruited
into their line of talent whether it is music, dance, poetry or acting and also
getting possible sponsors, agents or producers. BMP also looks at changing the
perspective of arts, creating opportunity not only for artists but also for
producers to see what is up and new in the performing industry, giving of fresh
innovative and new outlook of ideas for the performing arts industry.
