An interactive group/gathering of those interested in the
betterment of the Visual Arts
This month we have the guest speaker is Alex Coutts with But...is it art? The first slide invites
the audience to “Come on a journey through the jungle of judgement - from the
Old masters to the Contemporaries. And make up your own minds.”
Alex will progress through four Old Masters and four
Moderns/Contemporaries - looking at how the evaluation/judgement of Western
artworks has evolved over 700 years.
Lively discussion afterwards is encouraged.
The Arts Interactive meeting will take place on September 10
at 18h00 for 18h30 at the @ Hellenic Hall, Browns Drift, Durban North in the pub
