There is a petition out to make LM Radio available on
the Southern Africa DSTV radio channel bouquet.
“There is no radio station that caters for the middle aged
listeners specifically,” say the petition organisers. “All the available radio
stations cater for one music genre, one region or younger listeners only. The
babyboomers grew up with LM Radio until it closed down in 1975. It is back since
2010. We want to be able to listen to it on PVR decoders as well.”
