Bookings are going strong for the Westville Theatre Club’s
production of The Ring which has
received strong favourable response from audiences.
Don't expect the usual Musical Revue from this show, but
something very different. It has music, aerial acts, magic acts, juggling,
dancing, etc., but also an acted-out story line, and promises to provide a lot
of entertainment for the whole family.
As an adopted young girl, Roxanne had a good but average
life with her adoptive parents, never lacking in care and love. From a very
young age she was infatuated by the magical mysteries of the Circus, and this
infatuation was fuelled by her regular visits to the Big Top.
However, as life would have it and with destiny’s twisted
sense of humour, Roxanne was driven out of her comfort zone and into a life of
make-belief, through circumstances beyond her control. She found her purpose in
the circus, but destiny still had a few tricks up its sleeve before the finale.
The Ring runs
