The Durban
Holocaust Centre, in partnership with the Friends of Music and the Embassy of
Germany will present Passion &
Prejudice: Forbidden Composers, a programme of music by major Jewish
composers whose music was banned by the Nazis.
The works of Mahler, Schoenberg, Berg, Zeisl and Weill and will
be performed by Jill Richards (piano) and Peter Lurie (tenor).
The concert will take place on November 25 at 19h45 at the
Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga Road.
