AN EVENING WITH JAILOSHINI & AUNTY RUMBA

(Jailoshini Naidoo)

An evening of crazy comedy is offered with Jailoshini Naidoo and her alto-ego Aunty Rumba on December 18.

This elegant television presenter and actress transforms into the dotty, outspoken Aunty Rumba at the drop of a sari! The transformation is unbelievable!

Naidoo has decided it was time to give her alter ego, Aunty Rumba, a proper introduction to her growing number of fans and in this side-splitting comedy she doesn`t disappoint.

Every community - not just the Indian community - has a funny, crazy aunty, and Aunty Rumba is no exception. These truly South African women are an inspiration to Indian comedy through their fearlessness to say what they felt about absolutely anything, from cuisine to politics, in their own unique way. Aunty Rumba, however, is less predictable in her approach and in many instances her spontaneous retort will leave the audience slipping off their seats in laughter.

Presented by the Divine Knowledge Forum, An Evening With Jailoshini & Aunty Rumba is a fund-raising comedy show to help feed the under-privileged.

The performance will take place on December 18 at 19h00 in the Kendra Main Hall, 5 John Zikhali (Sydenham) Road. Donation R100 pp. Tickets booked through Computicket or by emailing: Shan at akshan@mweb.coza or Sunita at sn.bhoola@telkomsa.net
