The next LiPS Rendezvous – the monthly meeting of the Live
Poets Society will take place on December 3.
Poetry is an absorbing poignant drama being silently enacted
in the mind and suddenly it burst forth on paper. In a flurry words flourish
and unfold like a new born day. All poetry writing is in fact a ubiquitous love
affair between the poet and words
“The silly season is upon us,” says convener Danny Naicker, “and
for a lot of us it is a time to party and make merry. Let’s make the last 2014 LiPS
Poetry meeting a joyous and merry occasion. Let’s have a Bring and Share. Bring
along a nice bottle of wine and some snacks, don’t forget the Poetry, write
something Humorous, Gay, Witty and Nonsensical, let’s say good bye to 2014 in
Poetry style.
The gathering takes place on December 3 at 18h30 for 19h00
at A Novel Idea, 157 Blair Atholl Road (next door to the vet) in Westville
North. Admission is free.
