(Marc Kay & Sarah Richard)

Nigel Greenstuff is just an average, ordinary boy. He goes to a school, plays with his brothers and friends, and loves to read. But Nigel has a secret... he only ever reads one book. Over and over. The SAME book. But this is no ordinary book. It's a magical tome that contains every single story ever told! And Nigel does love to read his stories aloud, and share them with everyone. Everyone except his next-door neighbour, Casey, that is! She's a snooping, stinky, silly girl, and she's been trying to get her hands on Nigel's book for years... and this time, she may finally get what she wants!

This December, join Marc Kay and Sarah Richard in the roles of Nigel and Casey, performing in the award-winning Actors Unemployed Company's amazing new show Thrice Upon A Time. As Nigel and Casey, they will perform three fantastically fun-filled fairytales for the whole family: Three Billy Goats Gruff, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Three Little Pigs.

But what happens when the stories start going wrong? The only way you'll find out is to join them this December at the Rhumbelow Theatre in Umbilo!

The stories are all told using a combination of reading, acting, voice-overs, music and shadow puppetry. And when the show is done, youngsters can join the actors for a fun workshop on shadow puppetry, and learn how to make their own and tell their stories at home... however fantastical they may be!

Thrice Upon A Time runs from December 6 to 22 at 10h00 daily. Thursday shows at 14h00. Tickets R60 and snacks and juices will be on sale. Rhumbelow Durban is situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road in Umbilo.
