Drama for Life will present a season of solo works at the
State Theatre in June. The season, under the curatorship of Drama for Life, is
a window into new South African works that explore notions of identity through
memory, story, movement and gesture, and ritual.
Drama for Life is calling for proposals for one new or
re-worked solo production to be selected to be part of the season. The call is
open to all artists.
The proposal should be no longer than three pages and must include:
A production Blurb (no more than a paragraph)
Directorial/Production concept (a detailed production
concept for the work)
Any pictorial or video links that support your
directorial/production concept
Your contact details
Your Full name (and name of Company if applicable)
Your Email address
A Phone Number
A Physical address
Your Full CV
Names and contact details of two Referees.
The successful applicant will be awarded a grant of R20,000.
