The second concert
of the 2015 Series of Baroque 2000 will take place on May 3 in the serene and
tranquil atmosphere at Mariannhill Church of the Monastery, with its perfect acoustics.
The programme
includes Alessandro Scarlatti’s concerto grosso no. 6 and Antonio Vivaldi’s
concerto for 2 violins and cello RV 578 as well as Antonio Caldara’s trio
sonata in E minor and Archangelo Corelli’s concerto grosso No. 4 Op. 6.
The concert takes place
at 11h00 on May 3 in the Church of the Mariannhill Monastery.
Tickets R120 at the
door. There is ample and safe parking.
