Friends of Music’s next
recital takes place on June 16 and features South African soloists Ben Schoeman
(Piano) and Anzel Gerber (Cello).
Ben Schoeman is regarded
as one of South Africa’s foremost pianists. Anzél Gerber has been praised for
her ability to capture the audience through her mature artistic approach,
musicality and technique. The programme includes works by Beethoven; Britten; Schumann,
and Chopin.
The Prelude Performer
for the evening will be oboist Nina Alborough.
The recital will
take place at 19h30 on June 16 at the Durban Jewish Centre, 44 K.E. Masinga
(Old Fort) Road, Durban. Tickets R70 (R60 Orchestral & R20 Students). There
is safe parking.
