Absa, member of Barclays, has confirmed its renewal of the
Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees (KKNK) sponsorship for a further three years.
Absa’s involvement with the KKNK dates back 12 years.
Bobby Malabie, Group Executive for Marketing and Corporate
Relations – Barclays Africa, said that the decision to extend the KKNK
sponsorship followed a robust review of the property in line with the bank’s
business and brand objectives.
“In addition to gaining targeted reach to key market
segments through our KKNK property, we’re also delighted to remain strong
supporters of the arts in our country,” said Malabie. “As sponsors, we know
that we’ve added considerable value in enhancing the KKNK over the past 12
years and we look forward to helping the festival prosper in the years ahead. It is not only the arts that benefits from
the festival though and we are proud of the contribution we have been able to
make to the town and communities of Oudtshoorn.”
Executive Head at KKNK, Rhode Snyman, stated: “We are

festival has enjoyed tremendous growth over the years owing to the bank’s
