Arts Interactive is an interactive group/gathering of those
interested in the betterment of the Visual Arts
The guest speaker for the August meeting is Louise Hall whose
theme will be “Some thoughts on
contemporary artistic practice”. Drawing on her own practice and research Hall
will briefly discuss some concerns that have pertinence to contemporary artists
and galleries alike.
She has been a practicing artist for over 20 years and has
consistently shown her work in solo and group exhibitions - both nationally and
internationally. She has a BA Fine Art 1982 - University of Natal, a MAFA cum
laude 2007 - UKZN and a PhD(practice led) 2013 - UKZN.
Arts Interactive takes place at 18h00 for 18h30 on August 12
at Khaya Lembali, 15 Lumsden Crescent, off Peter Mokhaba Road (North Ridge Road).
Parking at the Girl Guide headquarters diagonally opposite.
Entrance R120/head includes dinner. Drinks can be purchased.

Interactive is specifically catered and pre-ordered – so when patrons cancel
just before Arts Interactive or do not arrive, the organisation is liable to
pay for their food.
