The Kayser String
Quartet with David Smith at the piano will perform works by Beethoven; Kosviner and Schumann at the Tatham Art Gallery
in Pietermaritzburg on October 11.
The members of the quartet are
Geza Kayser, Jitske Brien (violins), Claire Hamilton (viola) and Nigel Fish
(cello). The works to be performed will be Beethoven’s String Quartet Op.18,
No.1; David Kosviner’s Zorniger Frieden,
and Schumann’s Piano Quintet.
The concert will take place at 11h00
on October 11 at the Tatham Art Gallery in Pietermaritzburg which is situated
opposite the Pietermaritzburg City Hall. Tickets R70 (R40 concessions)
