MNET EDGE MOVIES



In addition to the start of the much-awaited series Transparent (tonight - October 23 - at 21h00), M-Net Edge on channel 102 offers fans more movies with an “edge”.

Sci-fi fans should make a note of the fast-paced thriller Helix, starting October 26 at 19h00. The creator of Battlestar Galactica is behind this series, which focuses on a team of scientists who investigate a potentially deadly disease outbreak in the Artic, where the future of humankind is in grave danger.

There is twisted comedy in The Brink, starting October 30 at 21h30. Funnyman Jack Black comes to the small screen alongside Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption) and Pablo Schreiber (Orange Is The New Black) for a geo-political comedy that brings together a politician, a diplomat and a Navy fighter pilot who somehow become entangled in the affairs of a military coup.

Danger is the name of the game in the second season of Gotham, starting October 29 at 19h00. Detective Gordon’s moral compass wavers more than ever, now that Penguin reigns over Gotham City.
