My ideal choice for a special person who enjoys crocheting.

My first impression on opening this book was - Wow,
what an amazing colour combination of both the different blocks and the
beautiful colours used for the various stitches resulting in an awesome picture
of exquisite beauty.
It would be very difficult for me to select a
favourite pattern, there being so many equally and exciting blocks. Crocheting
is a form of therapy, in some cases requiring intense concentration but not too
time-consuming.
The pattern instructions are precise and easy to
follow, each block illustrated at the top of the instruction and a clear graph
at the bottom, making it easy to understand.
It is
interesting to note further, that the colours used in the illustrated block are
listed next to the block, making it possible to ensure that the finished
article is almost exactly as illustrated. This I feel is very helpful and
will ensure a satisfying end result.
If I had to choose a gift for a special person,
whom I knew enjoyed crocheting as is the case with many of the older generation
of ladies, this would be my ideal choice.
