To celebrate the diverse cultures and talent in the City and
welcome the festive season in style, the Municipality’s Parks, Recreation and
Culture Unit will host Food, Fashion,
Music at the Park on December 5.
The three-pronged
showstopper event will showcase the rich arts and culture scene of the
City. The event will kick-off with a
fashion show where upcoming designers will showcase their unique garments. On
the line-up will be Treasure Cindi, SMB, Siya and Ngcebo, So-Me, Koo, Her
Collection, Afreecan Concepts, Emmanuel Titito, Nek, Good Friday and Verdetto
Fashion Kingdom.
Later, artists will
take to the stage to keep the crowd dancing through the night. They include
Monique Bingham, Aewon Wolf, Kyle Deutsch, Shekinah, Mashayabhuqe, Stilo
Magolide, Nasty C, King Sfiso, DJ Sox, Dj Feel, Breeze, Museeq IQ, Sainty Baby,
PDogg Amazing and many more.
Renowned TV
presenter, Pearl Thusi and radio personality, Jacinta Ngobese will host the
show.
There will be
pop-up stalls where a feast of flavours will be served to tempt your taste
buds. The showpiece is part of the Municipality’s commitment to showcasing
local talent and exposure of upcoming artists to the market.
Tickets R100 at
Computicket and at the door. No alcohol, cooler boxes or weapons will be
allowed at the venue.

05 at 12h00 on the Sunkist Lawn.
