Max film series directed by George Miller in 1981. Its stark comic-book-derived
cinematic style has served as a blueprint for an entire generation’s dark and
violent take on the follies of the human race.
What was once known
as the civilised world is in ruins, and Mad Max Rockatansky, one of the
survivors of an apocalypse, is in dire need of fuel, water and food. A band of
marauders is closing in on a small oil refinery, to kill everyone and make off
with the fuel. But Max has a survival plan of his own.
