Ace jazz guitarist
and singer, Mdu Mahlobo, and his celebrated band will feature in The Playhouse
Company’s next Sundowners concert on December
4.
Also performing in
this free early evening concert will be poets Sindisiwe Sibisi, Mwezi Yokwe,
Mzamo Selby Dlamini and Chwayita Zizipho Bam.
Mahlobo, who
launched his latest album Mduduzi Mahlobo
Unplugged in 2013/14, has performed with music greats such as Brian Thusi,
and is a firm favourite with Durban audiences.
The Playhouse
Company’s Sundowners series of
concerts give eThekwini CBD workers an opportunity to start their weekend off
the entertaining way with music, poetry and much more, all for free.
The Sundowners concert featuring Mdu
Mahlobo will take place on December 4 from 17h00 to 19h00 in the Playhouse
coffee shop. Entry is free.
Playhouse patrons

Parkade. The Playhouse coffee shop offers a variety of light meals and drinks,
while the Playhouse bar is open for every performance.
