The Maritzburg Musician's Club is returning to the La Casa
Stage next week on Tuesday (January 26) with an exciting new year ahead where
MMC hopes to offer the best of South Africa's live music talent throughout the
year!
“Don't miss being a part of the biggest and longest running
music event inland of KZN, knowing you are playing a huge role at keeping live
music alive in our beautiful city, as the whole door intake goes to the
performers!” says MMC’s owners.
Durban recording artist Rowan Stuart will kick off his 2016
touring schedule with his debut performance at MMC on Tuesday. Joined by Andy
Turrell on bass guitar, Rowan Stuart creates a unique brand of Soul Folk music,
with his soothing vocals and acclaimed acoustic and electric guitar skills at
the fore.
Opening the evening will be local well-accomplished musician
Christo Loots. Loots is no stranger to stages in and around the Midlands,
performing with a wide variety of bands and has been a familiar face in the
Marshall Music shop in Pietermaritzburg for many years.
Rowan Stuart and Christo Loots can be seen on January 26 at
19h00 at the Maritzburg Musicians' Club, La Casa, 5 Quarry Road in Pietermaritzburg.
Tickets R40.
