The Rising Star Performing Arts (RSPA) Theatre School.is a
successful, industry recognised, results driven extra-mural performing arts
training centre.
It also operates as an authorised examination centre for Trinity
College London and LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art).
RSPA students have performed in professional productions, been
cast in international movies and travelled the world with debating teams,
choirs and talent shows. They have achieved international recognition through RSPA
examination programmes, represented South Africa at the 2014 Commonwealth
Games, Scotland, and excelled in social circles due to increased self-confidence
and self-belief. They have also improved academically due to increased verbal
and literacy skills.
Classes offered include Kids & Teen Acting; Accelerated
Acting (for young performers wanting their performance challenged and pushed working
towards an international performance exam), and Triple Threat which includes
the capacity to act, sing and dance through the world of Musical Theatre.
