GreenLight Productions, a small theatrical group based in
Durban, will be auditioning this weekend (February 13 and 14).
They are on the lookout for two young and enthusiastic
actors, and a middle-aged actor with Mediterranean features for their latest
play due to open around mid–April. They are to play the characters of a white
soldier and a father and his activist son. The young actors should ideally be
in early 20’s and the older actor (the father), in his mid-40’s. Actors must be
available for rehearsals for the next four to six weeks.
The play is written by Durban critics award nominee, Yusuf
Haffejee, directed by Vivian Moodley and produced by Hoosen Farouk Sayed.
“This is a great opportunity to work with a progressive
group producing socially relevant and meaningful theatre,” says Sayed.
Auditions take place this weekend (February 13 and 14). Interested
parties should email greenlightplay@ gmail.com
with details of experience, etc: or contact Vivian on 072 567 7201
