The Durban Actors Studio is open to anyone aged 18 plus with
a passion for theatre and performance.
The goals of the organisation are to bring together
like-minded individuals who have a passion for performance and give individuals
who want a career in the arts, training, direction and focus. The studio also
provides coaching for professional performers who are invested in growing and
improving their skills and provides individuals with the ability to develop
performance skills and rekindle a desire to perform, whilst working full time.
The goal is to be a creative melting pot for the generation of ideas, productions
and talents while creating and running an accredited performing arts programme.
The Durban Actors Studio will be running workshops from April
to June 2016: Acting Fundamentals (April 9) and Performance Fundamentals (six
week programme from May 7 to June 11)
