The Friends of
Tatham Art Gallery (Fotag) are hosting a Tango
and Classic Italian Song Evening at the gallery in Pietermaritzburg on April
7.
Presented in
association with Music Revival this unique and entertaining concert will
feature popular dance tangos from Italy and Argentina, including music by Astor
Piazzolla. The music will be performed by Maritzburg pianist Christopher
Duigan, members of the renowned Cape Town Tango Ensemble, Stanislav Angelove
and Piet de Beer, and tenor Nicola Cencherie.
Tango and Classic Italian Song Evening will take place at 19h30 on April 7 at the
Tatham Art Gallery, Chief Albert Luthuli Street in Pietermaritzburg. Tickets R120
include refreshments on arrival from 19h00. There will be a cash bar. Booking
