The third Series concert of Baroque 2000 will be on June 26
at the Church of the Mariannhill Monastery. The soloist in this Harpsichord Concerti
will be Erik Dippenaar.
The programme will include Telemann – overture; Handel’s
Concerto Grosso Op 6 No 2 and Trio sonata No 6 in G Major; Hayes’s G major
concerto for harpsichord and strings and Bach’s D-major concerto (BWV1054) for
harpsichord and strings.
The concert takes place at 11h30 on June 26 at the Church of
the Mariannhill Monastery. Tickets R140 at the door. There is ample and safe
parking available.
The Tea Garden at the Mariannhill Monastery has re-opened
and Baroque2000 concert-goers can now enjoy special rates for breakfast (R30)
and lunch (R30).
