MONDAYS AT SIX CELEBRATE A DECADE

To celebrate the end of a decade of weekly Monday gigs at St Clements in Musgrave, a special programme has been devised for July 4.

The four founders of Mondays at Six at St Clements will each present a 15-minute farewell programme. Rick Andrew, James Parker, Pat Smythe and Pieter Scholtz will each say farewell in their own inimitable style.

Graham Linscott (The Idler) will read some reviews of the gigs that have featured in his weekly “Idler’s Column” in The Mercury newspaper.

Rick and Jill Andrew will then close with the St Clements anthem: Forever Young.

James Parker who now resides in England, has been asked to write a farewell message which will be read.

Ever generous host, Steve Clement, has suggested that the Monday programmes continue on a monthly basis (instead of weekly). Responses are invited – contact Pieter Scholtz on email: kwasuka1@mweb.co.za

St Clements is situated at 191 Musgrave Road. Mondays @ Six run between 18h00 and 19h00. Table bookings are essential on 031 202 2511. There is no cover charge but there is a donations box to support presenters.
